Shemale Dating: Post-Op or Pre-OP?

Davita, pictured in the first photo is a pre-op transsexual. Pre-op is transsexual lingo which means she has not undergone sexual reassignment surgery (SRS) to remove her penis and construct a vagina. So simply stated, Davita is a pretty chick with a dick.

Jade, pictured in the second photo is a Post-Op transsexual. She had sexual resassingment surgery to contruct a vagina and therefore does not have a penis.

Roughly about a third of all male-to-female transsexuals have had sexual reassignment surgey. They feel that having a surgically contructed vagina is essential to their psychological well-being. The rest of us, myself included, are content with keeping our male genitalia intact and thereby have the "best of both worlds" so to speek.

When considering dating transsexual females, it is important to know what you want in terms of SRS status. Do you want a "chick with a dick" or does it not matter to you? On TS Dating you will find three type of transsexuals - Post-OP, Pre-Op (no intention of having SRS) and Pre-Op transsexuals who will eventually have sexual reassignment surgery sometime in the future. Knowing exactly what you want will help you effectively focus your efforts avoiding confusion and misunderstandings.

I am a Pre-Op transexual and will never have sexual reassignment surgery. From my experience the true mystique of transsexuals revoloves around our status a the "third sex" possessing the "best of both worlds" in terms of our sexuality.
